I have observed challenges that need addressing. There are individuals who seek to undermine our way of life, both nationally, state level and county and city level. We need leaders who prioritize the interests of citizens rights over personal gain.  People who are committed do the “right thing” regardless of what is politically correct. People who believe in stewardship, transparency, accountability and protecting the rights of citizens in governance.

As your councilman for Lexington County, I'm committed to being a responsible steward of your resources, ensuring transparency in all expenditures, and working collaboratively with all stakeholders for the betterment of Lexington County. I believe in reducing taxes, bureaucracy, increasing efficiency, and above all, upholding the rights and freedoms of every citizen.

Here are the most pressing issues that I see and that other citizens have shared with me:

Safety

First and foremost, safety is paramount. We need efficient emergency response times, ensuring that help arrives swiftly when it's needed most.

Traffic/Uncontrolled Dev/Road Maintenance

Our roads are the arteries of our community. I pledge to prioritize road maintenance, fixing the 30-40% of our roads currently in disrepair, while also considering road capacity for building permits already issued. I will link the pace of development with the capabilities of our infrastructure without creating more bureaucracy/ red tape or a long approval process. 

Taxes

Taxes should be fair and transparent. I'll work hard to reduce unnecessary tax burdens, regulations, foster a culture of stewardship of taxpayers' dollars, and ensure that all county expenditures are easily understood and accessible to every citizen.
